The ABWA Mission
The mission of ABWA is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.
Executive Board of our Chapter
Our Executive Board consists of four Chapter officers: president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. The Board has general supervision of the affairs of the Chapter between meetings, follows and makes recommendations to the Chapter membership for discussion and vote.
These same officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, are elected by membership to terms of one year.

Membership
The primary function of this committee is maintaining the strength and vitality of the Chapter by organizing recruitment efforts, tracking membership status and providing support to new members.
Professional Development
The primary function of this committee is to deliver business and market relevant programming at Chapter meetings. The committee reviews the results of the annual Member Interest Survey to determine programming which best meets the needs of members within the context of ABWA’s mission.
Newsletter
The primary function of this committee is to design, write, publish and distribute the Chapter newsletter to members. The newsletter is published at least four times each year and is posted in Community Connections.
